"Our team of 18 attended the True Colors Workshop in Jan 2003. Prior to the workshop our team had been going through a lot of turmoil - layoffs, management changes and new team-members struggling to fit in. We wanted to find a way to bring the team together as a cohesive unit and someone suggested the True Colors Workshop. Jennie Willings did a fantastic job of facilitating the group, and created an environment in which people felt safe to to discuss their true personalities, strengths and challenges. Our team was dramatically impacted by the workshop, and excited to finally understand why it had been so challenging to work with various members of the group. Co-workers that were hardly speaking to each other prior to the workshop were hugging each other after, saying "Now I finally understand why we were finding it so difficult to work together". Following the workshop, we are a totally different team - now we work together as a unit, capitalizing on each others strengths. and helping each other in the areas that are challenging. We also work towards keeping that learning experience fresh in our minds by posting our colors at our workstations, and having a day where we dressed in our 'weakest' color, and acted out that color for the day. It has been a lot of fun, but mostly it is a great success story of how people that were isolated were brought back together, and now function as a unified team."
